The purpose of this online Open House Event is to introduce the Safety Action Plan to the Walla Walla County community and hear about safety concerns while traveling on County roads.

What will the Walla Walla County Safety Action Plan accomplish?

The Safety Action Plan will...

• • Study crash causes and trends to find high-risk locations on County roads
• • Identify countermeasures and strategies
• • Guide transportation investments and qualify for State and Federal funding programs
• • Help community members learn about the Safe System Approach
• • Save lives by reducing the risk of fatal and serious injury crashes

What are the crash statistics in Walla Walla County?

From 2018 to 2022, there were a total of 714 crashes on County-owned roads, for an average of 143 crashes per year.

Walla Walla County is committed to working towards 0 traffic deaths and serious injuries.
